Here at ZEIGEN we have been involved with breeding dogs, showing, obedience and carting for over 44 years.
ZEIGEN BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOGS of AUSTRALIA are instrumental in the development and improvement of this beautiful breed throughout Australasia and indeed many other parts of the World, having bred many of the foundation stock for a large number of Kennels in Australia, New Zealand and abroad. Zeigen Kennels pride ourselves for the strict standards of soundness to which we breed and we have been rewarded as being named as breeding #1 and #2 TOP SOUNDNESS PRODUCING SIRES in AUSTRALASIA, in a book written by Malcolm Willis (UK) "The BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOG TODAY".
ZEIGEN bred Bernese Mountain dogs are Bernese of distinction having won Best of Breed, Best in Group and Class in Show at most Royal shows throughout Australia and New Zealand.
We started our breeding programme with rock solid foundations and have imported dogs and semen from Switzerland, Sweden, Russia, America, New Zealand and other parts of the World, never compromising on our goals and ideals.
